Sangha Christmas & Foundation Work Retreat at Clear Sky

 

The Sangha Christmas & Foundation Work Retreat is a two-week winter retreat held at Clear Sky Retreat Center in the British Columbia Rocky Mountains, guided by Catherine Pawasarat Sensei. Taking place from December 22 to January 4, the retreat offers a balance of structured practice, teachings, and shared community time during the holiday season.

At the heart of the retreat is an eight-day Foundation Work practice, offering participants the opportunity to deepen core teachings within a supportive sangha environment. Those who have already completed Foundation Work may continue with their current practice. The schedule also includes community days, a New Year’s Celebration, and an End-of-Life Celebration honoring Qapel Doug Duncan.

Set on over 300 acres of mountain land, Clear Sky Retreat Center provides a quiet, natural environment that supports contemplation, reflection, and connection with nature. This retreat is open to existing Sangha members who have attended at least one in-person retreat with Catherine Sensei within the past two years.
