Money and Spirituality – Healing the Split Within

In many spiritual communities, money is often seen as a taboo or “unspiritual” topic. Yet, our relationship with money deeply impacts our inner life and spiritual path. The Money and Spirituality course at Clear Sky Retreat Center, led by Karen McAllister, offers a way to bring light to this hidden conflict and heal the split many of us feel between financial matters and spirituality.

Many spiritually-minded people experience guilt, fear, or tightness around money. This can show up as overgiving, undervaluing ourselves, or avoiding financial conversations—even with teachers or close community. These patterns affect our generosity, our relationships, and the flow of resources needed to live our purpose fully.

This course helps you explore and integrate your views of money and spirituality by:

  • Honoring your space and facing unresolved money patterns inherited from family and culture
  • Building new structure and routines to support healthy money habits
  • Understanding how communication and scarcity mindsets influence your financial decisions
  • Examining your relationships with money through the framework of the eight money archetypes

By loosening the “knots” around money—such as shame, guilt, fear, and resistance—you free energy to focus on your dreams, values, and spiritual growth.

Whether you are an artist, healer, teacher, or change agent, this course supports you in stepping into a place of peace, power, and care in your financial life. Money itself is not the problem; it is our projections and shadow aspects that create division.

This is an invitation to develop a whole, integrated relationship with money—a relationship grounded in generosity, clarity, and purpose.
